You are being assessed and judged the moment you open your mouth to speak. Many people underestimate or do not realise the power of speech. What we say and how we say it is actually a reflection of how we think. When we speak, we are really revealing ourselves to the world. So, shouldn’t we make sure we speak well to present only the best of what we offer?

 

Ever notice how different that your family and friends can be from you? If you are like me, you have asked yourself, “Why did they do that?” or “What were they thinking?”Everyone has unique personality traits. Everybody’s viewpoint is built into who they are.Some people call it “personality”, and some refer to it as “temperament.”The good news is that there is a simple key to understand how people behave and how they are motivated. We call the concept “The Human Behaviour Model.” This concept will allow you to unlock the mystery behind developing good people skills and creating better relationships. You will be able to use what you learn in this introduction session to reduce conflict, improve productivity and relate with others more effectively.

 

About the speaker- Joseph Wong

 

Joseph spent 36 years with Standard Chartered Bank before deciding to leave in 2015 to pursue his life goals “while I am still healthy”. He regards the following roles during his time with the bank as career milestones:
– Business re-engineering
– Quality management
– ISO 9001 certification
– System design and training
– Global sales proposal
– Digital learning

 

He started Delapro in the hope of sharing his knowledge and experience. ACTA-certified in 2016, his Phonetics Workshop (CRS-N-0041012) is an approved course offered under SkillsFuture Credit. He even goes by the moniker Phonetics Joe in the professional circle because he wants to be the go-to guy for phonetics in Singapore.
