Who is eligible to purchase Travel Infinite?

You must be a Singapore Resident to purchase Travel Infinite (Singaporean, Permanent Resident of Singapore or Foreigner with valid Work Pass, Student Pass, Dependant’s Pass or Long-term Visit Pass).

How can I purchase Travel Infinite?

Travel Infinite is available for purchase at our partnering Travel Agents here.

What are the available payment methods?

We accept Credit Cards for payment.

Can I purchase Travel Infinite if I forgot to purchase prior to my departure date?

No, you will not be covered if you have already physically left Singapore.

Can I purchase Travel Infinite if I am more than 70 years old?

Yes you may. However, do note that for an individual who is more than 70 years old, there will be reduced travel insurance benefits for Personal Accident, Medical Expenses Incurred Overseas and in Singapore, Emergency Medical Evacuation, Repatriation and Direct Repatriation.

What are the types of plans available?
  • Coverage Type: Single or Annual Multi-Trip (recommended for frequent travellers)
  • Policy Type: Individual, Family, Group
  • Plan Type: Classic, Deluxe, Suite
Is one-way trip covered?

The Policy do not cover one-way trip. You will need to depart from Singapore and arrive back in Singapore.

What is an Annual Multi-Trip Policy?

An Annual Multi-Trip Policy provides coverage for an unlimited number of overseas trip made within the policy year, provided that each trip is less than 90 consecutive days.

This is available as an Individual Annual Multi-Trip Policy and a Family Annual Multi-Trip Policy.

What is a Group Plan?

A Group Plan consist of a maximum of 10 individuals who are travelling as a group. The 10 individuals must travel together on a trip.

The Group Plan is only available under the Single Trip Policy.

Can we purchase a Group Plan if one of the travellers is a child who is unrelated to us?

Yes, Group Plans are meant to accommodate travellers who are on the same trip itinerary but not necessarily related to one another by blood relations.

What is a Family Plan?
  • For Single Trip Policy, a Family Plan comprise of a maximum of 2 adults travelling with 8 children. The 2 adults need not be related but the children must be related to either one of the adult. Everyone must depart from and return to Singapore together at the same time.
  • For Annual Multi-Trip Policy, a Family Plan comprise of you, your legal spouse and any number of your legal children. The children need not be accompanied by either of the parent for any trips made during the policy period.
Do family members have to travel together under the Family Annual Multi-Trip Policy?

No, you do not need to travel together under the Family Annual Multi-Trip Policy.

How do you define a “child”?

A “child” is defined as someone who is unmarried and unemployed, and is at least 3 months old, and below 18 years old or up to 25 years of age if studying full-time in a recognised tertiary institution.

Are pre-existing medical conditions covered?

Yes, the following sections cover pre-existing condition:

  • Section 18B: Repatriation of Mortal Remains to Singapore due to Pre-Existing Condition
  • Section 19B: Direct Repatriation of Mortal Remains to Home Country due to Pre-Existing Condition
Can I choose to only cover a portion of my trip if I am doing a multi-city trip?

No, your period of insurance must include your entire trip from the date of departure from Singapore to the date of arrival in Singapore.

Should the Policy end date be the date I board the plane or my arrival date in Singapore?

You should always get coverage for your trip up to the date that you are physically back in Singapore.

Are Leisure Sports and Tourist activities covered?

Yes, leisure sports like hot air balloon ride, parachuting, sky diving, bungee jumping, hang-gliding, paragliding, leisure scuba diving no deeper than 30 meters and non-competitive winter sports are covered.

Usual tourist activities that are accessible to the general public without restriction and are provided by a recognised local tour operator are covered. You must be acting under the guidance and supervision of qualified guides and/or instructions of the tour operators when carrying out such tourist activities.

How can I get Emergency Travel Assistance when I am overseas?

As a policyholder, you are entitled to the following free travel assistance services provided by Allianz Global Assistance. To access the service, simply dial the Emergency Services Hotline at +65 6415 8694 and quote your Policy Number. Consultation is free. Other third-party costs and expenses are covered under the Policy subject to the terms and conditions provided in the Policy Wording.

Who can I contact if I have product related enquiries on Travel Infinite, or if I need to make any amendments to my Policy?

You may reach out to our partnering Travel Agents that you have purchased your Policy from. Can I change my travel commencement date?

Yes, you may change your travel commencement date by informing us at least 3 working days prior to the commencement of your trip.

Can I cancel and get a refund for my Policy if I decide not to proceed with my trip?
  • For Single Trip Policy, we will grant a full refund of the premium prior to the commencement of the Policy. There will be no refund for cancellation after the period of insurance has commenced.
  • For Annual Multi-Trip Policy, we will grant a rate for refund of the premium paid corresponding to the unexpired period of insurance, provided that the amount to be refunded is at least S$20 and no claim has been submitted prior to the cancellation of this Policy:

How do I submit a claim?

If you have a TiqConnect account with Etiqa, please log onto TiqConnect to submit your claims. Otherwise, you may register for an account here. The account can be created and accessed immediately. Alternatively, you may also contact our friendly Customer Care Consultant for assistance.

I have submitted my flight details during policy purchase. Do I still need to submit a claim if my flight gets delayed?

We provide real-time tracking of flight delays, automatic immediate assessment and instant approval for travel delay claims. By providing accurate flight information during policy purchase, you will receive the claims payouts accordingly to your TiqConnect account if there is a delay. You can then encash the claims payout via PayNow.

You do not need to submit any manual claims as the process is automated.

Please note that this automation does not include any transit flights that you might take during your trip.  You will still need to submit a claim if you experience transit flight delays during your trip.
