SINGAPORE, 4 August 2022 – Etiqa Singapore, a leading insurer, today announces its partnership with the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) as its official travel insurer, tasked to protect customers from unexpected disruptions to their travel plans.

With international air travel returning to pre-pandemic levels, passenger volumes have been increasing. In Singapore alone, more than 5,000 passports are issued per day, almost thrice the number issued during pre-Covid times in 2019.[1]

Etiqa Singapore protects you with additional COVID-19 coverage

As Covid-19 numbers continue to rise worldwide, Etiqa Singapore’s optional add-on coverage gives flexibility and peace of mind to better protect travellers during their overseas vacations.

Called Travel Infinite, this add-on offers comprehensive protection to the traveller in the event of a COVID-19 diagnosis – before, during, and after the trip:

  • Before – Covers up to S$5,000 on non-refundable costs for cancellation or postponement of trip 14 days before the departure date.

Eligibility Conditions

  1. The Insured, also known as the Applicant / Proposer, must be a Singapore citizen, Permanent Resident of Singapore or foreigner with a valid Work Pass, Student Pass, Dependant’s Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass.
  2. The Applicant/Proposer must be at least 18 years of age.
