Renewal Terms & Conditions

Renewal payment via visa or mastercard

  1. The cardholder authorises Etiqa Insurance Pte. Ltd. (“Etiqa”) to debit his/her Visa or MasterCard for payment of his/her insurance premium(s) under the given policy. Other cards such as Diners or American Express are not accepted.
  2. The cardholder shall accept full responsibility for all transactions arising from the use of his/her Visa/ MasterCard for payment of his/her insurance premium(s).
  3. If the cardholder is not the owner of the policy, he/she has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act, Cap. 53B, to enforce any of the terms and conditions of that policy.
  4. Premium(s) that are charged to the cardholder’s credit card exceeding its credit limit available at the time of debit will be rejected. The cardholder shall ensure that his/her credit limit is sufficient for the deduction.
  5. The premium payment(s) that is/are payable will be considered as paid only upon successful processing of the debiting by the Card Centre.
  6. Etiqa shall not be held responsible or liable for any claims, loss, damage, cost and expenses arising from the failure to process the renewal application or payment due to exceeding credit limit, malfunction of the system, electrical failure and any other factors beyond the control of Etiqa.

Tiq Home Renewal Promotion

  1. This promotion is only applicable for existing Tiq Home Insurance policyholders.
  2. This promotion is only applicable for online renewal of Tiq Home Insurance.
  3. Please note that additional discount will be applied on top of any prevailing discount, i.e. Tiq Home Insurance have an existing discount of 15%, and the additional 10% discount will be applied after the 15% discount. Full discount of 23.5% is reflected in the final premium amount.
  4. This promotion is not valid in conjunction with any ongoing or existing insurance promotions, coupons, staff discounts and privileges, unless otherwise stated.
  5. The promotion is not transferable, exchangeable for cash or kind or extendable in validity.
  6. This promotion is not valid for customers who have cancelled or free-look existing policy/policies with Etiqa within 14 days of policy application.
  7. Etiqa reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time at our sole discretion, including changing the terms or terminating the promotion at any point in time without prior notice, by posting such amendment(s) to www.etiqa.com.sg.

Annual Travel Renewal Promotion

  1. This promotion is open to all Singapore citizen(s), Singapore Permanent Resident(s) and Foreigner(s) with valid Work Pass, Student Pass, Dependant’s Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass.
  2. Promotion is valid from 27 September 2019 till 29 February 2020 (“Promotion Period”).
  3. This promotion is only applicable for online renewal of eProtect Travel Insurance Annual Multi-Trip Plan and Tiq Travel Insurance Annual Multi-Trip Plan during the Promotion Period.
  4. Please note that additional discount will be applied on top of any prevailing discount, i.e. ePROTECT travel and Tiq Travel Insurance have an existing discount of 35%, and the additional 10% discount will be applied after the 35% discount. The full 41.5% discount will be automatically reflected at checkout.
  5. This promotion is not valid in conjunction with any ongoing or existing insurance promotions, coupons, staff discounts and privileges, unless otherwise stated.
  6. The promotion is not transferable, exchangeable for cash or kind or extendable in validity.
  7. The promotion is only valid for the Promotion Period.
  8. This promotion is not valid for customers who have cancelled or free-look existing policy/policies with Etiqa within 14 days of policy application.
  9. Etiqa reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time at our sole discretion, including changing the terms or terminating the promotion at any point in time before the stated Promotion Period without prior notice, by posting such amendment(s) to www.etiqa.com.sg.
