What you can get

Personal accident protection

From S$60,000, we will cover your helper in the event of accidental death or permanent disability. We will also reimburse her medical expenses in the event of an accident or injury.

Repatriation expenses

In the unfortunate event of death or permanent disability of your maid, we will reimburse the repatriation expenses incurred, up to S$10,000.

Hospitalisation and surgical expenses

We will reimburse you if your helper is hospitalised or needs surgery, including day surgery, up to S$15,000 a year.

Daily payouts

Should your helper be hospitalised, we will provide a daily payout for you to hire temporary help. We will also give a recuperation benefit of up to S$20, for each day your helper is hospitalised.

Medical coverage due to abuse

In the event that your helper abuses a child (up to the age of 12), an elderly (above the age of 65) or a handicapped person in your household, we will cover your loved one’s medical expenses up to S$5,000.

We serve as your Guarantor

Etiqa will serve as your Guarantor and will provide a Letter of Guarantee to the Ministry of Manpower. This frees you from paying S$5,000 upfront for the required Security Bond.

COVID-19 protection

If your helper is diagnosed with COVID-19 within 21 days of her arrival or return to Singapore, we will reimburse you up to S$15,000 for your helper’s hospitalisation and surgical expenses due to COVID-19 treatment.

Critical illness coverage

We will make a lump sum payout should your helper be diagnosed with critical illness. Available from S$5,000.

Additional hospitalisation and surgical protection

Home Cover

We will reimburse you for any loss or damage to your home contents due to fire, burglary or theft by your maid.

I expressly authorise and consent to Etiqa, its officers and employees at their sole discretion, to disclose any and all information relating to me, including my personal particulars, my transactions and dealings and my policies of insurance with Etiqa, to any of the following persons, whether in Singapore or elsewhere:

  1. Etiqa’s related corporations or affiliates;
  2. Any of Etiqa’s contractors or third party service providers;
  3. Any regulatory, supervisory or other authority, court of law, tribunal or person, in any jurisdiction, where such disclosure is required by law, regulation, judgement or order of court or order of any tribunal or as a matter of practice;
  4. Any actual or potential assignee(s) or transferee(s) of any rights and obligations of Etiqa under or relating to my policy or policies for any purpose connected with the proposed assignment or transfer; and
  5. Any credit bureau, insurer or representative, for such purpose(s) that Etiqa in its reasonable opinion considers appropriate including but not limited to the purpose(s) of underwriting, customer servicing, investigation of Etiqa’s representatives and monitoring undesirable sales practices.

Eligibility Conditions

  1. The Insured, also known as the Applicant / Proposer, must be a Singapore citizen, Permanent Resident of Singapore or foreigner with a valid Work Pass, Student Pass, Dependant’s Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass.
  2. The Applicant/Proposer must be at least 18 years of age.
